INRIA, the French national institute for research in computer science and control is dedicated to fundamental and applied research in information and communication science and technology (ICST).

Throughout its eight research centres, INRIA has a workforce of 3 800.

The R&D engineering positions allow working as engineers within a research project-team in the framework of an industrial or European contract. R&D engineers are recruited on annual contract which is renewable with mutual consent at the end of each year, subject to the project duration.

The R&D engineer will join the PARIS project-team and contribute to the XtreemOS European project (www.xtreemos.eu), which aims at building and promoting a Linux-based Operating System to support Virtual Organizations for next generation Grids.
